Calathea – MAUI QUEEN
Part of the Prayer Plant family, the Calathea Maui Queen has stunning hand-painted looking foliage patterns.
The leaves have a habit of lying flat during the day, and folding in an erect position at night as if in prayer - hence the name.
Plant Care Tips
Other Info
LIGHT: Position in a partial to shaded position in your garden or indoors ensure there is good filtered light.
WATER: Prayer Plants do best in well draining soil. Water when the top layer of soil starts to dry and remember to adjust the watering for the different seasons.
GROWTH HABIT: Prayer Plants have oval shaped, strikingly-marked leaves with a distinctive pattern on the top side of the leaf and make fantastic under bedding plants because of their low growing habit.
SIZE: Will grow up to 80cm tall.
