Plant Care Tips
Other Info
LIGHT: Bright indirect light and a humid position is great for these. They are pretty tolerant of lower light but will produce smaller leaves.
WATER: Water regularly, allowing the plant to slightly dry out between waterings.
GROWTH HABIT: Juvenile plants have small to medium sized, almost heart shaped leaves that are green to purple in colour but can appear pink in the right light, similar to the Philodendron Micans. When they mature they lose their velvetyness and the leaves become more deeply lobed.
In the wild these plants can be found mostly growing along the ground but it can also climb. If provided with a support it will quite quickly produce larger leaves making them perfect for a totem or training across a wall or shelf.
SIZE: Can grow to 1 meter + tall
